I'm back
It's been around eight years since I posted here. Just got busy with other things and life in general, but the one thing during all that time that didn't change. Was my 06 King Ranch, until now after ten great years of ownership. I finally traded the old guy in, he was a great truck but time catches up to us all and it was time.
I replaced him with a 2014 screw FX4 eco boost, Black on black, with luxury package. After a week of owning it, got to say I really like it. More power and better mileage, darn good looking too. Black was not my first choice, dark gray was. But I couldn't pass up this truck, super low miles and show room clean. Not kidding it looks like a brand new truck, even smells like it.
Looking forward to learning about my new truck, I'm new to eco boost but not turbo cars. I keep telling myself no power mods for this truck and I'm gonna try hard to stick to it, I am thinking about a leveling kit 1.5 or 2.0" but not sure if I want to do that either.
So far only mods are eco boost friendly bull bar, shorty antenna and hitch cover. May replace the stock running boards with something less in your face, but that's it I hope.
I do love my Ford trucks, I get so attached to them. They just treat me so well, good bye KR thanks for 10 great years. Hope the FX is as good, got to take some pics of it and change my avatar. It's good to be back.
