This is just a forum on ignition coils and any tips on purchasing ignition coils. Also if there are any mechanics out what brand is your favorite coil to use and why?

 

The original coils will fail, but when replaced, it seemed that aftermarket options including Accel didn't last as long as Ford coils. After swapping out several, usually warrantied out, I went back to stock. (My experience is on a 4.6 3-valve).
