Idle air control valve
I have a 2004 ford f150 xlt triton newer body style 4.6. Can not find the idle air control valve. Code scanner says to replace. Is it a false code. And do I have to replace my maf.

IIRC, it doesn't have an IAC.
Hard to replace something that doesn't exist. Post the exact code, someone should be able to assist.

Search P0605, there are more than a couple threads on it, IIRC.

Idk if 4.6's throttle body would be the almost the same as a 5.4... Anyways My 04 5.4 had low R.P.M at idle was told it was the iac looked and looked for it until i decided to take it in to Ford. They told that the iac was part of the trottle body!... They told me to buy a New TB for like $330.... <----- No thanks' just cleaned the TB with a Crc TB cleaner good as new.
