I wish they would've made that diesel f150. I guess I will have to make my own. When my 2002 screw dies its getting a 6.4!!!!!

I realize that but diesel engines are tried and true and all those kinks should be worked out.

Turbo charged gas engines "should" be tried and true too, but that hasn't stopped issues.

Fact remains, that any new production engine will have its problems, regardless if the concepts behind them have proven themselves over the years. It will take some years, but then a day will come that those ecoboosts are solid performers - if they aren't already.

If a diesel f150 would sell, they would make one.....

I don't get the fascination with the half-ton diesel. If you really need to pull that much, get a 250/350/450/550 anyway.

I think all you diesel nuts need to understand that the designers and marketers at Ford know what they are doing....

It would just be awesome to have a diesel f150!! I know I would be in line for one and its not that I would need it to pull anything I have other trucks for that, it would just be cool to roll some coal with a f150.
