Default I need your help

ok it all started when i changed my alternator this went very smooth so i thought but when i drove it for the first time about 2 miles down the road i got a serious miss and the service engine light came on so is this just a coincidence or did i mess something you can let it set for a while and it will run gr8 for about the same distance and then start missing again

Did you put in the right alternator..there is a high output one that will anda regular voltage..see that you have the right one in..make sure when you re commectedthe battery all the aux.circuit wires and ground were connected..it soulds like you have the wrong alternator..

To remove the alternator you had to remove the air inlet piping. Did you put everything back in its proper place. Are all the hoses connected and tight, no leaks? Any connectors that you may have unplugged need to be secure.

i had my alt. rebuilt and i will dbl check all the hoses but im almost certian everything is tight
