Default I need help

I just bought an 86' F150 4x4 4.9L. The truck sat for a year before I bought it. The thermostat had locked up and the guy parked it. The previous owner put on a new carb, fuel filter, plugs and wires, d-cap and button. I had an ignition control module put on and I put a new battery in it. I also replaced the thermostat and put a new water pump on. The truck is getting fire and gas. It turns over very strong but just won't crank. The only thing I can think of now is it may have jumped timing... any thoughts?

Thanks

Don't forget about air intake. A severely clogged air filter or rats nest in the air box could do it.

Fresh fuel? There is a possiblity of not getting fuel to the engine. Check to make sure they fuel lines aren't clogged or collapsed. The fuel sitting in the lines for so long could gum up and clog the lines.

Air , Spark, or Fuel. Gotta be one of those three. If you don't have one of these 3, you gotta find out why.Good luck with it.
