What engine do you have?? It won't be a direct bolt-on kit either. The Lightnings have a different compression ratio than the regular Triton engines too.

wrong.

the lightning 5.4L aside from the forged pistons is the SAME as the N/A 5.4L.

the 4.6L and 5.4L are different blocks, as the 5.4L is essentially a stroked 4.6L.

actually, it wouldnt be that hard, the plenum, compressor, injectors, and intercooler components, along with the misc stuff, like the accessory drive would give him everything he wants.

Ok so anyways like I said in my original post......the Lightnings have a different compression ratio so it WON'T be a direct bolt on. You'll have to change other things before you can just bolt the bower on the top of the engine.

I'm sick of these people who THINK they know it all.

tell me what compression has to do with the REST of the parts? 8psi is 8psi, he wants to use the supercharger, all of the top end parts are homogeneous, there is no difference is physical parts between a low compression 5.4L and a standard compression 5.4L. The block and heads are the same, just change the top end.

I have noted that most of your engine related statements are highly incorrect, anyone who states that a mod motor is different from a triton motor is clueless.

i found a really good deal on one (maybe too good to be true) and am wondering all that would be involved in the replacement.....

^It looks like the answer is YES but you will need more than just the supercharger.

OP- I am pretty sure that the heads on the 4.6 are different from the ones on the 5.4. I am not sure but I wouldn't think that they will bolt right up.
