took off running boards, got new rims, plasti dipped bumpers front and rear, grille and the ford emblems, and painted the headlight housings

now i just gotta get '09+ f150 emblems and paint those guys black too hah.

looks good, I thought about doing the blackout thing this time around but my truck came with the chrome package so I decided to add more instead of try and take it all off, lol!

just saying the all blackout look is kinda played out.the all whiteout look is in,but chrome will never go out of style.

Have you though about plasti-dipping the current emblems? I did so and it turned out amazing IMO.

I here ya. And for the record I like chrome when it's done right. There sure are some perrrty trucks on here and the chrome package XLT or a Lariat is a beautiful truck. In my area blacked out is NOT the norm... So my FX4 should be looking good. I also don't plan to add wheels for a while so my stock wheels will have to do.

For me.... I ordered an FX4 because when I went to the dealer to shop and saw one I felt like a little kid again screaming Daddy lemme get it! I think my wife moved my jaw up to shut my mouth. It was a great feeling and I can't wait for that truck to get here.......just found out my build date is 6/25!
