Damn I only wish I had the mechanical know how to do something like that. My dad was a huge mechanical guru, but I never took the time to crawl under the hood with him and learn. Was too busy playing sports and chasing the girls I guess. Now I'm getting too old to do either (well married rules out the chasing girls part anyways) and I still don't know how to do much on the truck.

Lookin' good Countryboy!!!!! You did ALOT of work in just a few days too. And to be honest that was a good lookin' truck just the way you bought it but like you said it had ALOT of stuff that needed to be done to it. Good luck with your build/tear-down and be sure to keep us updated!!!

Thats kindof Ironic, my dad was the same way. My grandpa worked on the railroad when he was younger, and then he was in the navy for quite a while. My dad didnt take much intrest in mechanical things, but I have learned sooooo much from my grandpa, ever sience I was little, I always wanted to be helping and learning. Im just glad that I took the time to learn from him.

My father gave me the manual and told me to knock myself out. Just roll up your sleeves and dive in. You'll learn best by doing.

The parts toy looks like last years turkey right after the meal was served.
