Yea, man, at first I just wanted a **** banger for bringing leaves to the dump and the home depot trips. Now it's like, this truck can be really nice if I put in the time and effort. I've already replaced the front gas tank, did the valve cover gasket on the left side (right one is next), tranny filter and gasket, exhaust, center link, put in a pioneer deck and cerwin vega speakers I had kicking around, and ignition tumbler a couple of days ago. I bought her for $500 and sold the contractors cap that was on it for $300; I'm not in the hole that much yet, lol.

I made cab corners on an S10 I had out of a nerf football, hot glue, cardboard and fiberglass body filler and fixed the kick panels with spray foam insulation.

... not in my basement either; on my truck
I had some on the cab of my truck, but I pulled that off a few months ago to see how bad it's rotted; It's not pretty. The other day I noticed the windshield was leaking, so I looked a little closer today and noticed under the sun visor on the outside above the windshield along the trim there is a strip of duct tape there, also. Hopefully I don't find any holding the frame together, lol... Someone did some real Mickey Mouse s*@t to this truck. I also found some home electrical wire under the hood.
