Default I Finally Did It!!

WELL, AFTER LOOKING AT A LOT OF PICTURES OF TRUCKS ON THIS SITE THAT HAD LEVELING KITS INSTALLED, I FINALLY DECIDED THAT IT WAS TIME TO GET ONE INSTALLED AS WELL. I TOOK MY TRUCK IN ON THURSDAY (2005 FORD F-150 LARIAT 4X4), THEY INSTALLED A 2.5" LEVELING KIT ON IT. I ALSO PURCHASED A SET OF "ULTRA" WHEELS. MY TRUCK CAME WITH FACTORY 18 INCH WHEELS, BUT I PREFER MORE TIRE WITH LESS WHEEL, SO I TOOK THE WHEEL SIZE DOWN TO A 17". I COULDNT GO ANY SMALLER THAN THAT DUE TO THE BRAKES, ANYTHING SMALLER WOULDNT HAVE FIT. FOR THE TIRES, I ENDED UP GOING WITH THE 35" TOYO OPEN COUNTRY M/T. SEEMS TO BE A GOOD TIRE SO FAR, BUT I DO GET SOME HUMMING WHEN IM UP TO HIGHWAY SPEEDS. OTHER THAN THAT IT IS A GREAT TIRE SO FAR. IM HOPING TO POST SOME PICTURES SOON,,,, ONCE I FIGURE OUT EXACTLY HOW. BUT ANYWAY,, THANKS FOR ALL THE GREAT INFORMATION AND THE EVEN BETTER PICTURES EVERYONE!! THAT HELPED ME A LOT IN FIGURING OUT EXACTLY WHAT TO DO AS FAR AS TIRE SIZE!!

You can upload pictures directly from your computer thru the board's own system. When you start a thread, or click the "reply" button on the upper left of an established thread, you will see a "manage attachments" button at the lower left of the screen. click on that button and a small window will open that will allow you to browse your computer's folders for the pic(s) you want to upload.

Good luck and can't wait to see the pics.

Glad you made the plunge!

You know that anxiety*/excitement feeling you had the days/week leading up to your install? We'll you've passed it onto us...

Now lets see some PIC's!

With respectful jealousy,
