Default howabout some imput?

well i was thinking yesterday about my want for a newer mustang not the 2010 and then i thought a svt lightning would be awesome to have... my price range is up to about 13000... how much money do you have to dump in to the svts to make them beat mustangs? in a legal race ofcorse..
just want a secons oppinion if i am goin crazy

I believe that all it would really take is an $80-$120 pulley for the S/C to make it faster. Of course this also depends on your prey of choice. The latter would apply to a GT. If Cobra realm is where you wanted to head, then more would be needed.

depends on the mustang man, i mean some i can beat my f-150 but u dump 3,000 in a super charger and put a 4.11 posse rear end in u should be able out run with most the mustangs that drive down the road

I would love to find a nice Lightning. The insurance companies laugh at me when I asked about rates. Even thru USAA.

Yeah... About three times per year more by itself than what I pay for my truck and wife's car combined. This was also a couple of years ago so things may have changed but not significantly enough for me to consider it.

That is almost total bull*****. Most companies do not even bother asking anymore. The VIN tells them everything they need to know including all the "particulars".
