bought some leds for the map light and the dome light in my 06 supercrew with no sunroof.

how do i safely take of the roof console to get to the lights? where are the tabs located?

i assume the dome light will be easy, but any tips???

I just answered this in a post a couple days ago. You must pull off the whole assembly. the bulbs are accessed from the belly of the assembly. Just push your fingers between the housing and the headliner and pull down. the front one has four clips, the rear one has two.

 

im just hoping not to break off the clips that hold it to the headliner. how much force is needed?

 

Just pull, they are strong. I have had mine off more than a handful of times in the past week as i fool around with bulbs. Just be sure to pull straight down. Any force from side to side could cause more damage.
