Paint is extremely heat sensitive. A painted plastic piece that close to a heating element will melt. Or cook the paint. Infra red heat lamps in a professional setting are set 3 ft away minimum for a reason. You can boil the paint off when the surface temp gets too high

In a kitchen oven?!?! Baking a painted piece in a kitchen oven? A junk oven you don't use for food i could see, like people do for powder coat. An oven you eat food out of? You'd be cooking carcinogens into your oven.

This is the emblem part # can be found on ebay / amazon. (I bought mine on ebay).
This emblem is the newer design, that can be disassembled (I used an solder iron, old tip).. so you can custom spray the emblem any color..
Apparently people who custom spray emblems don't want people to know the part # or how the do it.. the 3+ people I have asked failed to tell me the part #..
The more you know. DIY
