Default How much of a level?

I was just gonna run this by you guys would a 2.5" or 3" leveling kit look the best on my truck im gonna use the hell bent steel ones any good or stay away. I would like to have some input on it thanks.

04-05 2.5" and 06-08 2" to make the perfectly level. 3" leveling kits put to much stress on the CV joints and most people run hell bent steel or auto spring.

Thanks yeah I just assumed you wouldn't get a true 2.5 with a poly one Yeh I heard the 3" is hard on ball joints also

This is spot on. The 04-05 have different rear leaf packs and require slightly more to get them level.

Oh okay I never thought about the different leaf package thanks guys so a two inch hell.bent it is I have a 2006 model I truly love this forum and they have an app for it too

Ya the 04-05s have another leaf (3 pack) compared to the 06-08 which has a 2 pack. If you tow or haul a lot you might want to get a smaller level so the back end doesn't squat as much like 1.5" level so you have 0.5" of rake.

I mean I put my atv in the back that's about it don't really tow trailers or anything
