How many revisions does Rigid need to do?
How many revisions must rigid do before they get it right?
Here are two side-by-side rigid lights with their Gore-Tex breather hole.
And a separate rigid light with a huge nipple Gore-Tex hole
As you can see the hole is positioned differently and sized differently.
These are the only three that I have I just wonder how many more out there.

Not at all. I sold my D2 driving lights.
As soon as I receive my diffused ones back from rigid I have a buyer lined up for those as well.
Not sure if I got a bad batch of lights but when you spend that kind of money you would think that Quality control will be a little bit more strict on what they let leave their factory.
When I had all of my rigid D2 sitting next to each other it dawned on me that the housings were actually different on all them.
Now I'm sure after people read this they are going to go look at their rigids and see if they got the same thing as I do.

Just the problems I have had with them have put a really bad taste in my mouth, especially for the money that you pay for their products.
Their customer service is top notch don't get me wrong. they took the lights back and they are fixing them.
But when you spend that kind of money for lights, then you have to pay money to mail them back then wait a couple weeks before you even get them back. I don't like doing business that way.
Where my D2 driving lights were in my intercooler opening on my truck, I replaced those with a 10" stealth bar from Baja designs.
And to be honest with you this lightbar seems to be alot brighter than the rigid D2s combined.
The lightbar is rated at 4200 lumens according to the factory
The rigids are rated at 3096 each According to the factory.
As soon as I sell the ones that they are currently fixing I plan on buying the Baja design S2 Pro for my back up lights. They are a little bit smaller than the rigid D2's and only have 2 LEDs in them. They put out about 30% less light than the D2.
I have tried my damnedest but I could not find any bad stories on the Internet about Baja design products. Of course everybody complains about pricing but I can't find anything about their products failing prematurely as a result of the way they are built.
Plus, with Baja designs I can change out the lens to go from a different light pattern or go with a amber lens without worrying about avoiding any warranty whatsoever. Try that with Rigid!
