How long does it take Ford to do your oil change
Every time I take my truck to the local Ford dealer to get my oil changed, it takes them 7-8 hours to finish it. Now I just want to tell you this is even with a scheduled appointment! So how long do you wait?

Last time I took it in I had the second appointment of the day and it still took them 3hrs 20min. That also included the tire rotation and a steering wheel recall.

A little over an hour... but I also had a State Vehicle inspection and tire rotation.
I would guess it depends on how busy they are... where you are in the queue.
I usualy get there 1st thing as they open and drive into the bay.

I waited 2 hours for my 45 minute oil change. The woman that sold me my truck said it would take anywhere from 30-45 minutes. Well she and the service department manager heard what I thought of there oil change service so they give me 5 free oil changes so I can wait 2 hours each time.

If I go to the place near my house (Ford Dealership) then I usually drop it off for the day and pick it up again when I return home. But if I go to the dealership near my work they perform the oil change and tire rotation in about a half hour, which I am perfectly fine with.
