I had this factory setup in my '05 FX4, Yes you can, I installed the Aux (http://www.ebay.com/itm/AUX-AUDIO-INPUT-FORD-LINCOLN-MECURY-CAN-BUS-RADIOS-/260713573080?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories &fits=Year%3A2005|Model%3AF-150&vxp=mtr&hash=item3cb3bd6ad8,) plug & play, cost was about $90 and you will also need a rca to phone jack adaptor and then any extension to where you want to run it. I split mine, with one running under the cup holders in my center console for dvd player for kids in back seat and one by cig lighter for mp3/phone . I don't have the truck anymore or I would take photos for ya.

Amazon Amazon

This is what I purchased and it works GREAT! I have the standard 6 disc changer with no sub. I followed the steps in the radio post sticky and just drilled a hole between the lighter and back up alarm button to attached the jack. Zipped tied the unit to one of the many spots in the dash and I have zero complaints. All this at the time cost less than $30.
