I have the 4" heartthrob on the way. That should help a little. The new Y pipe is next with an air raid cold air.

This will get you the turbo noise you are looking for.

Don't take this the wrong way but that thing sounds horrid! Had there been one of them 12" chrome watermelons bolted to the exhaust I would have thought this was one of those Honda or Scion rice burners the teenyboppers ride around in. I guess I'm getting too old?

Don't castrate a nice truck with this crap.

don't get me wrong, I have the Ecoboost and think it's a great engine for towing v-6 or not. But it's not a big diesel with big turbos and isn't going to sound like one.
Keep in mind, the truck in the video also has the resonator removed. It is louder than having a catless downpipe with the stock muffler and resonator. I have a catless downpipe and a resonator and mine whistles like crazy but isn't as loud and blatty when you rev it like the truck in the video.

Gonna have to try the resonator then.

The video was more a demonstration of the increased turbo whistle. Rather than what a setup should sound like. Everyone has different taste for sound so that is truly up to the individual.
