Default Homemade wheel polishing machine

I got my wheel polishing machine built this weekend. My original idea was to salvage a treadmill motor and build a frame and Pully system. After looking at the treadmill I realized all I needed to do is remove the treadmill belt, shorten the deck and build a frame. I used unistrut for the frame and got a hub assembly from a junkyard. It was a fun project. Let me know what you think.

Until you slip a finger into one of the spokes and find yourself shooting an episode of Road Runner...but it is intuitive and a good use of recycling.

Yea, I was thinking the same thing, works good, just have to be careful. If you get a finger or something hung in it you'll be shooting something alright, and the color will be brown.

Hey, are you saying his precision arbor and bearing system is accurate enough to prove the rim is bent (I kinda wish he would have tightened all the bolt before shooting the vid).
Be careful...…..some idiot will put one together, lose a finger and sue you as the inventor of an unsafe machine.
