Hitting curbs

Default Hitting curbs

Does it hurt my truck, a ford f-150 2006 v8 , does it hurt it my truck to go over curbs at about 2-5 mph? Its fun to drive onto yards and what not but does it hurt my car?

yes lol. you will be realigning your truck every two weeks if you do that often. instead of hitting them, at 5mph especially, just stop and climb them.

haha i was thinking the same thing. and it only takes one hit to knock your alignment out. thats about $70 + the cost in tire tread you waste when you drive around with a bad alignment. worth it?

If you buy a lifetime alignment then you pay for the first time and never pay again. But its still easiest to stop and climb just because realignment can take between 30 min to 1.5 hours depending on the shop and equipment available.

If you do it at 85, it will only hurt for a minute. Your approach is all wrong!
