HID retrofit kit.
Regarding HID retrofit kits for a 1999 F150.
I want do do what has been done in this thread- https://www.f150forum.com/f6/lightni...-guide-195523/
But i am not comfortable with doing the install myself. Does anyone know of common shops around the U.S. that would do the install for me if i supplied all the materials?

You could try contacting reputable sources that sell HID equipment and ask if they have any recommended installers in your area or perhaps if they can create custom lights for you. You could try Lightwerkz or TheRetrofitSource. I have purchased quality components from both of them but I went ahead and did my own install. Its really not difficult especially with tons of videos available on Youtube to guide you.
If you stick with the Mini H1 projectors, the threaded shaft fits thru just about any headlight bulb opening but the better D2S projectors have a larger threaded shaft that may require some trimming in order to fit it.
