Default Hi everyone.

Here's my story. In 2002 I bought a brand new reg. cab flareside f150 (6cyl) It was beatifull. The family grew and had to part ways with it. Now my sys. offered to sell me her 2002 Red supercrew f150. I's manual, manual trans with a 6 cyl. It has a 3" suspension lift and is in pretty much mint condition other than some very minor hail damage in the roof. tires have only about 6 mos of usage and the truck has 75k miles. how much should I offer? what would be a good deal. One owner....I desperatly want to get back to a full size truck....I'm already salivating.......Thanks for your help

I would suggest checking Kelley Blue Book or Edmonds for a beginning idea of what to offer. I could throw a number out but having not seen it, knowing all it's options, documented history with maintenance, ect ect it's hard to say.

As a starting point, you could use Edmunds.com TMV (True Market Value) site to get an approximate value. I've used it many times in the past and it helped me to get a good price on vehicles I purchased. Here's the link:
http://www.edmunds.com/ford/f150/2002/index.html

Just go down the list and find the model of her crew cab and select it. On the next page put in your zip code and then click the "Add/Remove" link under "Typical Options". On the next page select the "Buy" radio button and enter the color and miles of the truck. Then check off the options that the truck has and the condition of it and then click the "Get Pricing Report" button. It'll then give you pricing for "Trade In", "Private Party" and "Dealer Retail" for your specific area.
