Default HELP!! Weird Shifting Issue!

I am new to the site, but appreciate any help. I have an 06 F150 XLT 5.4L. Over the past few months, the truck tranny seems to be banging, or jerking so to speak. This only occurs in low RPM's, basically below 2000. This seems to occur mostly when coasting and giving slight gas with the low RPM, and low RPM up-hill. I had the truck in the shop, and they said there were no tranny codes, and that it was caused by 2 coils misfiring. I had both of those coils replaces, along with the associated plugs, and still no help. Any ideas here?

Also...I will add that there has been some sluggish acceleration as well...almost hesitation.

hmmm...I don't believe so. From what the dealership told me...it is def bad coils, which of course it ended up not being.

Default Exact same problem

I'm having the same exact issues with my 2010 F150 XLT 5.4 with only 3200 miles I have an appointment to have it looked at on Mon. I'll let you know what they say.

After I had a coil go bad my truck was running rough. I reset the computer and it fixed that problem. It is worth a shot.
