I had to email Injen CS a couple times. But they came through with what sounds to be a similar/same angled aluminum tube solution was sent to me in the mail the next day.👍
Problem solved in about 10 mins of driving after it self corrected once installed.

Happened to me today in 2016 3.5. I was about to light truck on fire.. purchased may, 44k miles today. Post 6. Gonna read you again and mess in engine bay but I haven’t done any maintenance on truck, does have k&n. It is coming close to oil change so I thought maybe it’s telling me that? But my percentage is at 20%. Not sure how accurate that is but I usually go off it.... ima get oil change today actually lol
hoping that resets sensor.

I sure hate to resurrect a dead thread, but it may help someone down the line. I had the same issue today. I have no modifications on the engine at all, but I had the oil changed a couple days ago and that was the issue: they didn't seat the dipstick all the way into the valve cover. It looked fully inserted, but it wasn't. I only noticed it because as I was taking the engine cover off to get to the sensor I saw what looked like a little bit of oil spray above and to the side of the dipstick, near the master cylinder and power steering unit. It wasn't hard to see where it came from after that. So make sure your dipstick is fully inserted AND that the o-ring on the end of it is intact.

Same issue
I have a 2020 3.5L and I have this issue now. Installed a K&N CAI and 500 miles later it came up. Dipstick is good and all the connectors for the CAI are good as well. Got a scanner and deleted the code but it stored it as a permanent code but no CEL, any insights?

Feedback/update!
Hi James - having the same issue with my 2017 Raptor & installed the same K&N CAI a few months ago. Any insights you care to share?

So weird that people keep paying to install problems on their trucks. There's no benefit to a "CAI". Paying good money to be aggravated. Why?

The last time I had this problem I checked all the clamps and tubes and hoses all were good. I smoke tested and found a leak on the intake manifold, after replacing the intake manifold gasket i rechecked codes and it was gone. I hope this helps.
