ohh where to begin! I bought this 1989 F-150 from a guy about 2 weeks ago, the day i bought it the guy told me that it needed to have the plug wires replaced because it had a miss and was running rough! well the ride home about 36 miles was OK but it did die on me once and kept making a popping sound every time i would try to get it to go faster when i got home i popped the hood and really started looking at it and noticed that the egr solenoid had a hose broken so i replaced all of the little vac hoses one by one ,and replaced the the egr vac solenoid then i replaced the coil pack and upon replacing the spark wires i noticed that the original wires this guy had on it, were in the wrong firing order so i put the new ones on in the right order and bam! started right up smooth as silk! popping went away during driving and i have a hell of alot more power! buuuuut till today took the truck into town to get her inspected which is about 7 miles from my house. it passed! but on the way home she lunged and stalled got it over to the side turned the key off then on again to hear the fuel pump and it started right back up then it did it again about a mile from the house repeat process. got home and did a code check koeo and code 33 is the only one i get. then koer i get 21,44 whats up guys help me out here! 89 f150 302 efi manual trans 4x4 short box single tank just fyi!
