So I think my f150 speakers are blown. I have a 2010 f150 xtr supercrew cab and Im planning on just upgrading the 4 speakers, one in each door, and leaving the stock headunit. I dont want an aftermarket because it will ruin the stock look of the truck and I like the stock one. However will it sound better than it does with stock or no noticeable difference?

 

Lots of us have replaced just the speakers for better sound, I went with Polk Audio and they are most definitely an improvement over stock. The reason I chose marine grade is because our doors are not water proof, they should last the life of the truck.


You might also need some pigtails so you don't have to cut the factory harness, on my 2013 these worked.
