I know you don't want a repaint, but those scratches are down to the plastic. Repaint is the only way to do it right. Otherwise you'll just have to live with touch up paint.

Here's my ordeal. And this sucks because I'm an auto body painter! I just moved so i don't have a job at the moment, no way to fix this right.

Drove from Mass to Wisconsin, got hit by one of those tire retreads. Tore off my front plate/bracket (that's in Conn, on the side of rte 95 somewhere), and scratched/scuffed my front bumper. I buffed it and touched it up. Still waiting on a plate bracket from Tasca. I'm just going to live with it for now.

After the hit

After the fix

Thanks for that. Ok so since you touched it up which is what I'm leaning towards, is your condition back to 100%? If not what's not 100% about it?

No. No where near 100%. Touch up looks like *** close up, but ok from the distance in the pic. So it's acceptable to me...for now. Once i do get a job...it will be fixed right

I got a small door ding and scratch on the passenger front door that I'm not happy about, so I got to get it fixed too cause I do not know anything about stuff like that.

Scratches and dents just drive me insane, more so than it should. The worst is when someone else does it though, if my truck is going to get messed up I want to do it.

Doesn't look bad for a touch up pin though, can't even really tell in the picture.
