Default Help - 97 F150 shuts off at stops

RPM
Park 10000
Nuetral 9000
Reverse 4000
Drive 6000

Stalls when I let my foot of of gas and apply the brakes. Does this in drive and reverse. Runs great cold but as soon as it warms up stalls at stop signs and so on. I noticed the rpms dive to 3000 before it cuts off. Had a code for MAF and changed that no help. Please any Ideas

vacume leak. check the rubber hose from the pcv valve to the back of the throttle body elbow. Its probably under insulation so pull it off or back to reveal the hose. It might have a hole in it or cracked. Also check all the vacume lines, your trucks old so some might have dry rotted.

glad i could help. samething happened to my 98 and it was just a matter of searching for it. If you plan on keeping the truck for a while longer, replace the hoses.
