i have a 91 150 ex cab 4x4 with the 302.its been giving me code 34 for about a month now.replaced egr,egr solinoid,egr position sensor,vaccum lines seem to be good but going to change those to.changed plenum gasket and noticed that the egr tube moved back and forth quite a bit.i did not think much about it at the time but i am still gettng code 34 out of it.so my question is should the egr tube going to the intake manifold move some or is it rigid? this is the last thing i can tink of that it could be anyone have any ideas? im kicking myself now for not pulling off the insulation and looking at it.

 

i have 94 f150 the egr tube is covered w / a heat insulator . the tube itself is rigid w/ out anyplay . good luck

 

mine has the same heat sheild.looks like ill be changing it out. my tube moves quite a bit probbly an inch or 2 in all directions.thanks for the reply.
