Default Help!!!

I bought a used 2010 F-150 45 days ago. The pinion seal was compromised causing oil to leak by the seal. Seemed like no big deal. So, I bring the truck to the dealership for repair, which they do. Later, during the week, I realize the 4x4 is not operating (a wrench appears in the display on the dash). When I purchased the vehicle the 4x4 system was operating. Is there any possible way that the dealership caused damage to the 4x4 system when they did the pinion seal repair? Thanks for your input.

No, Its either vacuum leak, hubs, transfer case or the part above the battery on the firewall. I'd replace that first because its been redesigned and is about $30 from ford.

The wrench is an indicator of a fault with the electronic throttle control not the t case.

Keep guessing that will fix it. Or you can find the code and figure it out that way. Will save you money in the long run

I read some stuff about what it can possibly be. For $4.99 for a 20 amp fuse it worked. I question why a fuse would blow in the first place as I have never had a car with a blown fuse. Could it be an electronic problem? When I bought the car, there were some blown fuses for the auxiliary power and cigarette lighter. Thanks.
