Default Heated Side Mirror Upgrade

I have a 2011 with power, power folding, and auto dimming side mirrors (well the passenger side mirror doesn't dim). I also have the rear window defogger. Can I upgrade to get heated mirrors in addition to the other features? Would it be a plug and play? Or would I need to add some wiring? I have looked through the other threads but I can't seem to find the answer.
Thanks

Plug n play. There are quite a few how to threads on this.

Secondly, I've never heard of mirrors with all those features, but no heat?

Great idea--I need to do this too for those cold mornings.

Yeah my mirrors have all those features but there is no heat... though I'm basing that off of the fact that there is no "heat symbol" on the mirrors (every vehicle including fords I have been in with this feature always have that little symbol etched in the mirror).

Would I need to go to the dealer and have them turn the feature on within the trucks computer?

I wouldn't use that as an indicator of whether they are heated or not. My heated mirrors have no symbol on them.

No computer update needed, plug n play.

I would ensure you do not have the heat in the mirrors before you buy anything. I worked in a Ford body shop for the last 6 years. Replaced quite a few, and never saw a mirror with all those features, and no heat.

My 2012 XLT has heated mirrors. They work off the heated rear window switch. I don't think there is a symbol on the mirror.

So my XLT didn't come with heated mirrors, rear window defrost etc. Upgraded to tow mirrors with LED's. They're also heated, BUT how would I go about turning them on as I understand factory heated mirrors turn on with the rear window defrost. Which I don't have.

Take a picture of the selector panel for your heat/cool options. I have a button on the left side for my heated mirrors.

You need to swap out your climate control. The info is all here.
