Default Heated seats

I have an 08 Lariat with leather but the truck does not have the heated seats. Is it possible to add this and be cost effective?

Yes, you can add aftermarket heating element to leather seats. The cost will vary depending on where you live. As far as being cost effective, I guess that is up to you. If you live is a climate where the thermometer is below 32 degrees half the year, I would say yes, however if you live in the south where it is usually 75 degrees on Christmas day, I would say no.

I'm in the same boat, have the leather seats, but not heated. It'd be nice to find some OEM ones with the heater elements in them, then buy the dash piece that has the switches. Anyone know if the wiring harness hookups would be in the truck? or would it have to be specially wired?

All the wiring should be there.
