Question Headlights

Headlights
I have a 2008 F150 King Ranch
Can I replace the headlights or bulbs with something brighter? The stock lamps are very dim.

If you need bulbs. I like Silverstar Ultras. They put out a nice white light. Some do have issue with longevity though. They can be found on E-bay for around $20. Less than half as much at the store.

IF you want to spend more a HID set up will be a lot better.

HID's are your best bet. You will get much greater light output.

Maybe not the bulbs at all, jparent. You
said they are very dim. Maybe a ground
problem. Maybe the plastic in front of the
bulbs fogged over and need buffing..

Let us know your outcome..

x2 on the Silverstare Ultras. I used to have HID 8K's in my truck, but the blue light annoyed me. I went back to using conventional h13 bulbs, and use the Silverstar Ultras. Great light pattern, great output. They do say that the life expectancy drops to about a year (I think it means one year of solid "on" status??). Either way, thumbs up to this bulb.

Get the HID's, you can get the blue but if thats not what your looking for then get the extreme white. I think it is either 4K or 6K... I have the 10K and instead of being like royal blue, they are more aqua and really bright!
