Hello, I have a 2003 F150 with the fog lamp option and no daytime/automatic headlights. When you pull out the switch to turn on the fog lights the switch is easily damaged and typically the plastic stem breaks off leaving the **** tumbling to the floor. My question is can I replace this headlight switch with a standard switch without fog lights and then just put in a toggle switch for the foglights? Is the plug the same? Is it simply downgradable and "Plug and Play"?? Any help or suggestion greatly appreciated, many thanks!
