Default Headlight Adjustment

anyone know how to align the headlights something about so many feet from a building and the lights should only be so high? since my truck has been lifted and the lights never adjusted i can't see anything at nite i can ride around in town with my brights on and never been brighted back thats how far down there pointed....any hellp appreciated

On stock headlight height, you would park close to a wall with the headlights on. Mark the centerlines of both high and low beams with something like masking tape, where the beams hit the wall. Now, back the vehicle away from the wall to a distance of about 25 feet. Adjust the low beams to hit about 2" below and the the right of your marked centerlines. Dbl-check the high beams.
