Default Hard Hats

Who has good tips/ideas for where to store and/or hang your hard hats in your truck so they aren't always in the damn way, don't roll all over the place but easy to get to. Pics?

I wore a hard hat for 30 years. The best solution I came up with was mounting a gun rack in the rear window and hanging it on there. The trucks were all X-cabs. It also doubled as a place to put my plans and fishing pole tubes.

I leave mine in the garage so I don't have to wear the damn thing.

On a serious note, under the back seat works or inside a plastic tote in the bed assuming you have a bed cover.

Good idea and I would but.... No cover. Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

I just got back from a Home Depot run looking for likely things to use. Could not see anything useful for it. I may try hanging off the drivers headrest with a hook and wire or something.

Stuffed under the back seat. But I do like the gunrack idea.

They actually do make a wire rack that hands off the headrest to hang hard hats. The full brim ones that we wear in the oilfield anyway.

Piece of small rope wrapped around the metal part of the headrest with an old ratchet tie down hook attached to it, blends with the seats pretty well ( if black) and then just pop your hard hat onto the hook
