Hanging flap near front of F150?
Hey guys, a few weeks ago I noticed this flap hanging near the front two wheels of my 2018 F150. Any idea what this is? It doesn't look right hanging down like this... guessing it needs to be put back into place? Thanks for any help here.

Apparently it's there to help with gas mileage. It's save very little. It's supposed to be a flimsy piece of crap. Lots of people remove them. Then oil pan is above it....so Everytime you change it that cover has to be removed.

Thanks for the response. Is it really supposed to be hanging down like that? Looks weird and I swear it wasn't like that when I first got the truck.

Can you take a pic from a different angle?
Anth is talking about the "diaper" that bolts on under the oil pan, but I see what your talking about, the piece hanging down more towards the front of the truck.
It's hard to tell what it is since it's just a silhouette.

It looks like a fabric panel covering the steering rack. Mine is loose and hanging a bit on the passengers side. It's just on front of the panel that needs to be dropped when changing oil. Mine looks like the steering rod to the hub interferes at full drop.
Mine will be re-hung with a few zip ties to secure. KM
