Gym rats!
I wanted to start a thread to see how many people on hear visit a gym regularly. Maybe spark up some conversation about supplements and routines. I think it would be good to share some stuff with people that may be just starting, or need something a little bit different from thier usual routine so...... POST EM' UP! lol
As for me, I get to the gym at least 6 days a week, sometimes 7. I am on a weight regiment right now, with little cardio. Supplements include GNC's Mega men extreme athlete vita-pak, USPLabs Modern BCAA's, and Wheybolic extreme 60. Thinking of adding anabolic pump to my system here before too long. Anyone have any insight on this?? Thanks!!

I'm usually at the gym 5 days a week, 2 off days. Remember resting while working out is just as important. I mostly do weight training and the only supplements I take are Orange Triad, ON Whey protein and Creatine. I used to take Jack3d before my workouts but it started making my heart race pretty bad so I stopped. I'll switch between Oriange Triad and Animal Pack every so often as well.
Right now my routine is Chest/biceps, Back/abs, shoulders/triceps, legs. Just rinse and repeat. I usually change my routines up every 7 to 8 months so my workout doesn't get to stale.

I go 5 days a week as well. My split is Chest/Abs - Biceps/Back/Forearms - Triceps/Shoulders/Abs - Legs and then I usually get a cardio day in full of biking running and swimming.
As far as supplements, I have taken SuperPump 250, Jack3d, 1MR, Somotrophin, Wheybolic Extreme 60, Max Protein, and the list goes on, I got good results from the different combinations I have taken over the last couple of years, but i've decided to try to stay as natural as possible, and only use supplements to get me over plateaus.

Wish I could weight lift again used to power lift in college and in the marines. But ever since I dislocated my elbow I haven't lifted weights ands have gained about 30 pounds of not so good stuff Haha. I can do some cardio but it doesn't shed the pounds like plyometrics and good ol iron pumping can.
oh, I forgot to add my routine. Monday-Legs, Tuesday-Back/Light Biceps, Wednesday-Chest/Light Tricep, Thursday-Light legs, Friday-Shoulders, Saturday-Heavy Biceps/triceps/Forearms, and when I go on sundays Ill do some cardio and abs

I'm not a gym guy, but I run 4-5 days a week. I don't take any supplements at all, just try to eat reasonably. What are you really trying to achieve with the supplements? Are they for building mass, burning fat, extra endurance? I really don't know anything about them, so sorry if that's a dumb question.
For the average person protein, food extract vitamins, and fish oil pills are the only things you need. There are so many BS supps out there that you cant go wrong with the 3 I listed. I usually work out 4 on and 1 off. I dont have a set schedule but will continue to work on body parts according what day it falls on.
Staying active is the main thing and I gave up trying to boost my ego by lifting heavy all the time since I seen too many guys in the gym all busted up in their 40s. Listen to your body, cardio is as important as working out, and proper rest is key.
