Exclamation Goodbye Ford.

Hello folks. just wanted to say its been a very informational stay here for the last 3 years, and 2,103 posts..... Lots of discussions, lots of arguments, lots of opinions.

I really do appreciate all the information I've gained on the F150. had the 5.0 and the 3.7.......... even tried a ford focus.

Decided it was time for a change. No major issues with the F150 (except for the vibration issue, and the battery saver issue), but decided I wanted a small SUV. Drove an escape.... no impressed.... Drive an EDGE, nice, but pricey....

Went to the "other side". Very impressed with the 2014 Dodge Journey so far....My XLT and $2000 and it was mine. Very impressed with the ride, quietness, and mpg. Its definitely the most overlooked small SUV out there. The dealer sold 3 of them while I was there.

So, anyways, just wanted to say goodbye.

Greg

Read this and wondered....why say good bye? Why not stop posting and leave. Not to be a butt. Just wonder. Have seen others do this.

Good luck!

My guess is at about a year (or less, I'd be surprised if it took two), when it starts to break and fall apart, you'll be looking for something else.

just playing devils advocate, I'm sure someone on a Dodge forum said the same thing to someone there who switched from a Dodge to a Ford vehicle.

Because he wanted to let forum acquaintances he isn't going to be around anymore? The only time I'd call out one of these threads is the occasional "Ford sucks and I'm leaving" or "This forum sucks and I'm leaving" thread.

Maybe he has a sense of decency about him that is lacking in some others.
