Yep, you sound just like a soccer Mom now! I guess if you don't need a truck for hauling things like rock, mulch, sod, firewood, stinky fish or deer then a soccer Mom's SUV is for you! Good luck, if you own a house and have a yard to maintain I think we'll see you in an F-150 again down the road, just a guess! I have an FX4 and it's the smoothest riding truck I've been in, nothing choppy about it.

My truck seems to find it's way to Lowes a couple of times a week.
I bought my last non truck in 1973... (Used Jeep CJ)
My trucks seem to thrive on muddy roads going to hunting/fishing spots.
Too regular I hose out my bed to remove mud, blood, and bark from cut wood. Not to mention my EB seems to thrive when I hook up my camper to tow to the mountains.
Problem a few folks have is they mistake use, for abuse...

A truck IS nice and has it uses, but for practical purposes, don't really need one.
to go to a CREW cab (which rode nice...), it would have been 10-11,000 MORE than the XLT.
The problem with getting a really really really good deal on an XLT, then wanting to trade up to a current year CREW is alot of money than just buying one---- cheap price on XLT, higher price on Crew (in other words bought a CREW instead of a RCAB), is less alot less shock in price.
But you go with what is reasonable, so essentially, My Dodge Journey is paid for as well because I took cash when I swapped for F150 for the Dodge.
Its all good. I'll keep it til the warranty runs out, then get something else.
Deal with all that later.
This RAM was smooth riding and very quiet. but wasn't worth 10K more than the regular cab trading.
