Of course. Let me get a picture of it though, will make it easier. Short answer is there is an adjustment on the gearbox. But it takes small adjustments to get what you want. I mean 1/4 turns then drive to see what you have. You can adjust along the road (trust me on that).

Got some photos. I'll see if they attach. This adjustment should only have to be really small. You don't want things too tight either. The first photo is looking down into the engine compartment just to the right of the radiator. The gearbox is the leaky looking thing down low. The second photo is a closer view of the adjustment "screw". It is adjusted with a blade screwdriver, but there is a lock nut to be loosened first.

keep it! fix er up! use bedliner once you get the body panels fixed... not the esiest to clean but will keep it from rusting... those old trucks are solid easy to mod and well... a truck... anything Ford made newer then 99 had a lot of plastic... plus 5.0 parts are everywhere... and this one doesnt look like its seen the rough winters we see down here in Iowa... they put a ton of sand and salt down... its hard on the body and undersides but this is pretty good considering the age
