Default Glasspacks?

I have personally never dealt with them, which is the reason for my question.

What will they do for the sound of my truck?

will they make it sound louder/softer?

good/bad?

oppinions please

You are running straights, correct?

If you are they won't make much of a difference in sound but they will provide you with horrible performance. lol

I honestly couldn't tell you but every time someone mentions them on other forums the next post implies horrible performance.

I have also read that they sound better once they are used for a while, true or not?

Yes but at the some time they will lose some of the packing, which I have also forgotten what it is.

I know someone who got glass packs just to make his exhaust legal. Then he used a pressure washer to break up all the fiberglass to basicly just make it all pipe.

I personally don't like glasspacks or straight pipes. Under full throttle flowmasters , Magnaflows or Borlas sound the best.. Just my .02
