Does anyone have know how a ghost tune works? My friends keep saying to get one but I need to know who it benefits my performance or if it causes problems in anyway? I have a 2012 Ford f150 5.0 2wd. Appreciate it guys!!

 

Ghost cam tune I believe you are referring to, it makes it lope like it has a radical cam in it. Plenty of utube vids to get an idea. I have some custom tunes but not the ghost cam tune. I don't trust it. They only make it for the Mustang v6 and v8.

Some think just because the F150 shares the coyote engine that it's the same and it's not.

 

Do you know if it adds any performance to the end besides the cam sound?

 

No idea, MPT makes the GC tune and I do have MPT custom tunes, they do not offer the ghost cam tune for the F150 most likely for a very good reason. The tunes I got from them most definitely are a huge performance gain.

 

Okay let me change the topic a bit real quickly. A performance tune? Who's is more better 5 star tuning or mpt in your opinion? I'm looking for a performance tune and I want to get my money's worth out of them lol

 

I have both 5* and MPT, The MPT tunes are a little more aggressive.

Can't go wrong with either.

Top 4 tunes are 5*, bottom 2 are MPT.

Drives like a sports car, also the performance tune makes the trans shift feel like it has a shift kit in it. My DD is the towing chill as it keeps the trans shifts smooth.

 

Incredible! And you haven't had any issues what's so ever even when you floor it?

 

Only issue I've had is trying to keep a straight face, miles of smiles every time I drive her.
