Default gearing

Brother was debateing with me and I dont think itll work but is it possible to use the gearing in the front and rear end from a 91 f150 in a 77 f150 custom? And along those lines the auto lock in hubs from a 91 wont work with the 77 either will they? Thanks in advance for all answers and or flames

the '91 F-150 uses an 8.8 31 spline Ford axle in the rear, and a DANA 44 IFS set-up in the front. I believe the 77 F-150 uses a DANA 44 (straight axle) in the front, and either a Dana 60 or Ford 9" rear. Nothing there is interchangeable, except for the actual ring and pinion gear in the front.
