i recently replaced an ignition switch on an '88 F-150,4.9 v-6,tilt wheel,auto. trans. after replacing it,i put the steering column back in place,and secured it with the bolts. for some unknown reason,i can't get the gear selector to move,except into the park,nuetral,and reverse gears. can any one offer any ideas,suggestions,fixes,etc? i'd really appreciate any help/thoughts on this. thanks,and have a wonderful day!
