Default Gear change & Tune vs. Whipple 2019 5.0 4x4

I am considering 2 different options.
First and more affordable would be to change my 3.31 gears to 4.10 and do an OZ X Tune.

Second being the latest Whipple kit.

I have a JLT intake, Borla cat back and Bilstein 6112s ,2 inch lift in front,.33 inch tires I drive under 80 mostly. 90% aggressive, very bumpy Houston city driving.

I have heard the 4.10 gearing may not be optimal if I supercharge.

Of course the Whipple makes MUCH more HP. I am just not sure I need that much.

I would like have opinions from those who have actually used one or both options?

The gearing and OZ tune is where I am leaning at the time.

im not sure gears will do much for you with the 10 speed and it’s already very low 1st gear and tight gear spacing.

What is the end goal for the truck ?
Why do you think you can't do a gear change with a blower ??

Sure, gears can be changed anytime for any reason. As described in my post. Hard, inner city, bumpy roads, aggressive driving under 80. With occasional jaunts down the Interstates. Otherwise known as Houston traffic. LOL

Just looking for other peoples experiences.

So far the 4.10 gearing and an X tune fits my needs well. I do see a lot of usable potential in that combo On the other hand, more HP is always a good thing. My other cars are factory supercharged. So the thought of the truck going that route is a fun idea. But costly.

I am not sure I would want the 4.10 gearing with the super charger. I would have to run in 4 wheel drive just to keep from lighting up the tires. That's why others experiences may be of interest.

This Forum has pretty deep files. I like that they add "related" threads. I found my info at the bottom of that thread. Sure helps.
