Default Gap in bed

I have a new f-150, about a month old, found a " Gap" between the truck bed and the wheel well. I can see through to the ground! Service rep told me this normal. Anyone know about this?
Thank you

No, not normal at all. The only time I've ever seen a gap like you're talking about, was a redneck job replacing the floor with 2X lumber. I think your "service rep" needs to show you how normal it is on the trucks in their inventory.
Just how wide is this gap?

VTX. I don't know how to post pictures. Gap is very slim, would probably be very hard to see in a picture

Default Gap in bed

Up date. Just looked from underneath. The "bed" is attached to the sides with rivets. There are gaps (sun light) along the entire length on both sides.

I just figured out the problem. It's a design feature, full length gutters to drain the beds. Neat feature.
