Default G2 BackFlip Tonneau

Thinking about putting the G2 BackFlip on my 2012 FX4. I was wondering if anyone has done this and has comments or pictures. I love the tri-fold feature and the low profile look from the side view. My main question is can it be locked?

I got it and love it. Works great. Leaks a little in a car wash but doesn't get soaked. Looks great as well.

it doesnt have a lock on the unit itself but if you have your tailgate up and locked you cannot access the release mechanism to open it

here's one of mine.

under each folding section there is a latch on which you have to pull a wire to release it. when the tailgate is up and locked there is no way to access said latch so basically locked tailgate = locked tonneau cover.

Got the F1 which is just the upgrade from the G2. Love it.

I had a G2 on a previous truck, and put an F1 on my current Ford. The G2 can be dented much easier (e.g. a hickory nut !).

Wow. I ordered the G2 earlier today and now you guys are making it out like I should have gotten the F1. I loved the low profile look of the G2 on Fords I've seen. Is the F1 that low also. Maybe Auto Anything will let me exchange if I leave it in the box. Dang it.

yes, it looks identical but is stronger. I would definitely recommend that you get it instead if you use your truck at all like a truck. my G2 has been on my truck for 4 months and I bet I couldn't sell it for half what I paid for it, it's so beat to hell.
