Default Fx2 with LSD ""… need some help

I ordered a Fx2 and part of the package eneded up being a 3.73 LSD. I get that a Fx2 is a 4x2, and I get the basic of how a LSD works. I also get the difference between 2wd, 4wd, and AWD. What I dont 100% get is how LSD works with a 4x2.

Specifically: is there a drive shaft that goes back to the pumpkin on this truck? I tried to search google and here on my own, but couldn't seem to find a good answer. Appreciate any help or steers in the right direction you can give me.

transmission, driveshaft to rear axle. The ring and pinion is connected to a differential that has clutch packs that engage upon excess wheel spin.

Thanks. That's what I was figuring, but without being able to look (I live overseas) I wasn't sure.

Its still 2wd.. Theres no transfercase or front differential.. The LSD just helps lock the two rear axle's together... Instead of spinning the free'est wheel.. it will spin both...In most cases
